What do Mars rockets, smartphones and exclusive watches have in common? They’re made using Sandvik Coromant tools and solutions, to ensure the highest level of precision, quality and productivity! Although we usually might be recognized as an industrial company who’s employing engineers, we’re also one of the biggest IT organizations of the region, aiming to become a leader within digital solutions. Learn more about us in this Youtube video (link).
We’re right now gearing up for big changes – such as one of the biggest current ERP projects of the Nordic region, as well as a shift towards the new SAP S/4 HANA – all in order to create a seamless flow of information across our organization. We’re therefore searching for new talents to join us on this dynamic journey and strengthen our Business Platform department. Being responsible for the operations and development of the fundamental IT platform of our business, we’re a key player in the revolution towards a fully digitalized organization.
For our Process and Governance team, we’re now looking for an IT Process Owner – a peoples’ person who’s thorough, self-driven and a good coordinator.
Here, you work in a team of SAP professionals acting as a bond for the whole Business Platform department – making sure everything runs smoothly by working with internal routines and processes. As the need for IT security has increased, you coordinate, manage and drive different security-related missions such as audits and internal controls. You have a natural authority, helping you to get your voice heard when collaborating with different colleagues. With high attention to details you manage and drive our internal processes forward – taking responsibility for the whole journey and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. All in all, a great opportunity to make an impact and improve our ways of working!
This position gives you some flexibility to choose your own working location, although presence at our site in Sandviken is needed a couple of times a month post Covid-19, in order to maintain strong personal networks and smooth collaboration.
Working for Sandvik means that every day, through your actions, you contribute to important shifts in the world. Listen to what three of your future colleagues got to say about their work at Sandvik Coromant (link).
