IT Product Owner Business Applications - NEW Integration Scrum Team

About the job

Verisure is seeking an enthusiastic and driven IT Product Owner, to join our Group Technology Organization.

Your primary responsibility will be Product Ownership for MyField team, working with internal and external IT and business stakeholders to maximize the value of the application.

MyField is vital to our installers and is used to integrate and install Arlo-cameras. For the last couple of years, the application has been developed, refined, and extended to support more and more business functions, but we are not done yet. Focus for coming years is added functionality as well as increased Contract digitalization.

The team working with MyField is part of a bigger team within Installation and Maintenance, part of Business Applications within Verisure Technology North. The role will report to Installation & Maintenance area manager, based in Malmö.

The tools we use are Jira and Confluence. We use Scrum/SAFe and believe we have a strong agile development process with good test routines.
 

Key responsibilities
* Understand, coordinate and document requirements from business stakeholders
* Responsible for the team backlog, including priority. Feedback on changes or limitations to stakeholders during implementation
* Iterative documentation with review and input from the Development Team
* Sync and cooperate with other Product Owners, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Superusers, Sales/operations management in in the countries we operate in regarding solutions and way of working
* Coordinate 2nd line support through follow ups on trends and major issues, lessons learned and maintaining communication channels

What you bring

You are comfortable leading, directing, and empowering team members without formal management authority in a complex environment. You need to be able to work independently and drive projects forward at a good pace with high quality. You enjoy working with cross functional teams and international stakeholders and you easily create trustful relationships with people on all levels, different backgrounds and cultures, both internal and external. You need to be comfortable communicating with senior management at IT and Business.

 You are a problem solver that both can identify obstacles and bring solutions to the table. A positive attitude with a “can do” mentality is key to succeed.

We believe you have several years of relevant professional experience in the IT industry, and a couple of years’ experiences working as a Product Owner.

Furthermore, you have:
* Ability to understand and translate business needs to IT requirements
* Experience of complex high-tech projects, involving integration of large systems
* Experience in multi-national and multi-cultural environment
* Experience in Agile Methodologies
* Ability to negotiate and communicate with vendors and stakeholders
* Fluent in English
