We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to drive exciting data & technology projects!


As a Project Manager in Schibsted Data & Technology, you will be running strategic and operational projects within Schibsted, influencing and leading change through data and technology. The project portfolio includes company-specific, regional and global projects.

Your main tasks as a Project Manager is to plan and run projects to deliver on business goals. You translate business needs into project plans and then use your leadership skills to execute on the plans, clearly communicating and motivating all people involved.

​The job is challenging, fun and with varying problems to solve, you will learn about and develop many different parts of Schibsted and get to know a lot of people. You will be part of our Project and Portfolio team based both in Stockholm and Oslo.

​Your main responsibilities will be:

Plan and manage projects towards business objectives with the bigger picture in mind. You will develop business cases, project objectives and detailed project plans, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

Ensure project performance with a focus on the objectives, keeping track of deliverables, risks, budget forecast and costs and to make sure that we meet expectations. All projects report regularly to the steering committee about project progress, concerns, and recommended solutions.

Establish and maintain relationships with the project team, other internal resources, third parties, and vendors, and to coordinate and communicate well with these parties for great project execution.

Ensure that project results are stable, maintainable and scalable through good solution architecture, proper testing and early involvement of operations.

Provide direction, support and bring good energy to the project members and stakeholders.


Skills and requirements:

Excellent communication and facilitation skills to provide direction and clarity to collaborate in a structured way when partnering with stakeholders across the Schibsted organization.

Being a dedicated team player and problem solver who independently and efficiently solves any issues that arise to move the project forward and to support the project members to succeed.

A proactive attitude to continuously improve our internal processes, project model and routines.

-
A passion for technology, data and people; influencing and leading change through excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.

Curiosity and openness to taking on new challenges.

Experience from project management roles and/or IT/Management Consulting is preferred.

Fluency in English is a requirement and the ability to speak and understand Swedish or Norwegian is preferred.

Bachelor degree or similar


We are flexible when it comes to seniority and experience, we need to increase our capacity at both senior-level and mid-level.

Schibsted Data & Tech is a central product and tech unit that serves all of Schibsted. We are about 250+ people in Oslo, Stockholm and Krakow, and collaborate closely with other product and tech teams in all units in Schibsted. Areas of responsibilities include data & technology strategy, privacy/data trends/responsible data & machine learning, information security and internal IT.
