About the role

Adapteo Group IT is now strengthening their team with an IT Project Manager. You will lead and be responsible for managing the projects to its goals and results. The work will be carried out in various types of business near IT projects and you will work together with stakeholders from operations and Group IT as well as external consultants. 

As an IT Project Manager you will be linking business strategies to project goals to optimize project performance. You will also lead and coach others as well as communicate with many stakeholders at different levels within the organization. Your tasks also include training and coaching of our employees at Adapteo to drive a change management to reach the project goals.

We are looking for you who know that project management involves daily problem solving, continuous challenges and having the ability to focus on solutions and opportunities.

This role reports to the CIO and the location will be the head office for Sweden in Solna. . Traveling will be needed to other Adapteo offices throughout Northern Europe.   

Responsibilities
Project lead for IT business related application development projects and post M&A implementation projects
Participate in the definition of business requirements related to IT projects
Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Align proposed solution with Architecture roadmap
Safeguard compliance with security requirements
Coordinate internal and external resources for the smooth execution of multiple projects
Planning, follow up, risk analysis and reporting of ongoing projects
Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Manage the relationship with relevant project stakeholders i.e. project owner and Steering committee

Who are we looking for?

We think you have proven working experience in project management from leading business critical and complex projects. To succeed in this role, you have excellent business-facing and internal communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a person, you are structured, driven and committed. You proactively keep a dialogue with internal and external stakeholders and see solutions when others see problems. Furthermore, you have the ability to identify new activities when needed and take action on issues immediately when they appear.

Your background and experiences:

Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Experience with project management software tools
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Used to connect business strategies and plans to define project objectives and to optimize the project outcome
You have experience in change management and requirements management
You have deep knowledge and experience to lead cross-functional and global project groups from different business areas, IT and external suppliers
You are easy to interact with other people and can explain and drive the projects in an educational and clear way
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is meritorious
You speak fluently and are good at writing in both Swedish and English


It´s a bonus if you also have experience of Agile methodologies and previous experience from building, construction, rental or production sectors.
