Job description
Randstad Technologies is looking for a Business Engagement Specialist (BES) to work at our client within Automotive.
The responsibility of the BES is to connect business needs and initiatives with appropriate service teams and relevant expertise within the organisation to ensure customer alignment and quality in deliverables. Although the BES is not responsible for each service delivered, the BES will own the IT SLA towards the customer and the overarching IT delivery to that customer. The BES is heavily involved in the technical solution design and architecture towards the customer in alignment with service teams. Sometimes the BES acts as a project specialist when an initiative is driven in a project mode. Documenting deliveries in agreements is central to the success, in cooperation with Key Account Management.

Responsibilities
This assignment will include a few different customer engagements (not set in stone yet), between which the BES will balance the time:
1. Business Engagement Specialist will coordinate the IT Stream to secure that deliveries to custmomers are described, priced, agreed and delivered. This includes analysis of the current IT landscape together with business stakeholders and work with the IT teams to deliver the IT environment supporting our customer' business.
2. Coordinate and follow up on deliveries towards the Design organisation. This includes customer interaction and coordinating with IT teams to ensure business needs are met. This scope of work is constantly transforming requiring a flexible mindset but structured way of working.
3. IT delivery coordination and agreement follow up.
4. New Engagements.
5. Internal development to improve ways of working and processes relating to the BES work
Responsibilities:
Present solution proposals to customer and agree with customer on what and how to deliver. Act as a proxy CIO as a service to customer that do not have broad IT capability.
Drive the SLA creation process towards customer and keep it up to date based on the input from each Service Owner.
Responsible for reporting status to customer and internally as per agreed metrics.
Address performance or delivery issues if needed. Escalate when issues arise that has not been solved within regular processes and drive the Problem management towards a solution.
Provide Service Teams and management with customer feedback and business insight that can improve or extend deliveries towards the customer
Support in the yearly Budget Process towards each customer although no actual budget responsibility
Qualifications
The consultant has the following experience:
Customer engagement/account management
Project management
Experience from setting up small scale/start up companies or carve-out activities from an IT perspective is beneficial
Experience from business organization development and change management
Broad experience from automotive IT deliveries
Competence:
Good understanding of customer relationship/account management and best practices for service delivery
Broad IT technical knowledge allowing to the BES to discuss, coordinate and drive technical work towards the service teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Business oriented mindset
Service Minded
Organized, analytic, structured, and skilled in documentation
Excellent team player
ITIL knowledge (foundation level) is preferable and strong ITSM background is beneficial
Holistic view and capability to understand IT services in a business context
