We are looking for a senior IT Project Manager for one of our customers within the Medical Device industry in Uppsala
Essential Responsibility:
- Assumes full responsibility and accountability for the IT track of the project - the deliverables, the team, the budget, and the schedule.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for team members.
- Promote effective working relationships.
- Know project progress & communicate project status to all stakeholders.
- Stay in touch with the progress of project dependencies.
- Act as a catalyst to resolve project-related problems.
- Ensure that the project utilizes the existing project management framework to its advantage.
- Ensure proper change control of key project artifacts.
- Continue to keep ongoing documents to capture any Risks, Actions, Decisions Made, and decisions Needed.
- Negotiate appropriately skilled resources for activities & tasks.
- Conduct, document, and communicate Lessons Learned upon project completion.
- Roles and Responsibilities are not limited to the ones mentioned above.

Assign tasks to project team members.
- Makes decisions within the frame and scope of assigned projects.
Main tasks:
- Organise, plan, and lead cross-functional, highly complex, and business-critical projects.
- Report project progress to governance boards and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide decision support and recommendations for critical decisions to relevant stakeholders.
Level of formal education:
Training in Project Management, for example, PMP certification.
Qualifications/requirements:
- +5 years of experience in project management, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in implementing PLM IT projects. Implemented at least 2-3 complex PLM projects as an IT project manager.
- Experience in managing project implementations in the life science domain.
- Experience working on project implementations with Nordic businesses.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality deliverables by the project team.
- Knowledge in performing strategic analysis for the project, developing schedules and methods for measuring results.
- Experience in roadmap/timeline planning, staffing activities, financial planning and management, project reporting to business and IT Stakeholders
- Clear & concise verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills
- Knowledge of working with Validated systems (CFR 9 Part 11) is preferred.
- Functional knowledge of PLM for part management, document management, CAD management, change management, etc.
- Oracle Cloud PLM developer/admin/fundamentals certification is a plus.
- Prince2/Scrum Certification is an added advantage.
