Do you have previous experience in IT project management and are ready for the next step? Do you possess great communicative skills and describe yourself as well-organized? Then we think that you are a perfect fit for the role of IT Project Manager at Sweco AB!
What will you do?
As an IT Project Manager at Sweco IT you will manage projects within Sweco IT, but also IT projects requested by Swecos different business areas. Your first project will be an ISO 27001 implementation, and in the future, you will move on to other projects. You will belong to the Project Management team that currently has four members. You will, together with your colleagues, plan, execute, and complete high-quality projects. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Ensure projects are correctly initiated, approved, and funded before the project start
Arrange and manage project team resourcing across the Sweco IT organization
Plan and hold meetings with your project team, encourage cross-team collaboration, and help remove blocking factors
Report project status and manage decisions in collaboration with project steering committees
Communicate information regularly to various stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in the role of IT Project Manager you should have:
- Experience in working with IT Project Management and be process-oriented
- At least five years’ experience working in a global and complex environment
- A basic understanding and knowledge of IT and IT services
- Experience in leading meetings
- Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
We are extra interested in your application if you have experience in working with ISO 27001 implementations, agile and waterfall methodology, and a good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 applications.
As a person, you have great communication skills and thrive in an environment where you get to collaborate with others. You are comfortable expressing your thoughts, often leading others, and the discussion forward. Moreover, you should be well organized and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently. You have the ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines. Last, but least, you have a positive attitude towards quality and change management.
