Then this might be your chance to join Vattenfall IT as our team of IT Project Managers is eager to grow with an additional IT Project Manager/Senior IT Project Manager!
Your position
As a IT Project Manager/Senior IT Project Manager you are part of our Swedish IT Project Management team (YIFPM), yet your role is to lead projects of various natures through the whole of the Vattenfall Group. Supporting new apps for R&D to improve the CRM systems, business specific applications and data center transformations are in scope for this role. You will also be part of complex transformation projects within the nuclear domain to create a more consolidated, stable, efficient and secure IT environment and way of working
All of our IT Project Managers lead multidisciplinary and international teams and contribute directly to Vattenfall strategies. You will be a part of a great team consisting of both internal and external employees, located in Sweden. The team cooperates closely with colleagues in The Netherlands, Germany and Poland.
Main tasks and responsibilities as a IT Project Manager/Senior IT Project Manager:
Plan, execute, follow-up, and deliver IT projects according to or above customer expectations
Establish and coordinate international teams of project resources, actively bridging cultural differences
Establish and coordinate interactions with stakeholders (Business Management, IT management, Security Organisations, Solution Architects, other IT departments, external providers, etc.)
Build up your network to build trust and reputation to be able to influence the playing field
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
An academic degree in IT or relevant field
At least 5-8 year experience from leading IT-related projects
A genuine interest in the energy business and its current developments
A deep knowledge in the project management area such as stakeholder engagement, communication, integration of interfaces and dependencies, scoping, planning, negotiations, procurement, risk management, time budgeting and cost control, team building and performance etc.
A relevant certification (IPMA, Prince2, PMP etc.) is desirable
Experience from leading Security IT Projects (meritorious)
Since we work in an international environment we expect you to be fluent in both Swedish and English (writing/speaking).

You have the ability to work independently and build relationships with other project resources and stakeholders on all levels. You feel comfortable in sharing your ideas, as well as being challenged in them. Furthermore you value and apply the Vattenfall leadership skills: Clear, Visible and Courageous in your everyday work.

Location
Solna. Some travel to other Vattenfall sites as well as international travel is required.
