IT resources-Logistics projects

Sandvik Mining and Construction is expanding rapidly.This provides a number of challenges in different areas.In order to be able to deliver all projects within the area of logistics we need to increase the number of skilled resources working with Logistics processes and the IT systems supporting these processes.We are now looking for three candidates in early stages of their careers within IT.The positions provide excellent career development opportunities in a flexible and fast moving global environement.Travelling for shorter and longer periods will be a part of your job and you must therefore be prepared to relocate for a period of time.Key performance areas As the IT resources - Logistic projects your main tasks are to: - Participate in, as well as manage, IT projects aimed at solving business problems.- Communicate with internal and external stake holders.- Meet project targets with minimal business and service disruptions.Your profile To be successful in this position a recent Masters degree in computer science, computer technology or similar is required.It is also important that you are familiar with modern IT architecture concepts such as SOA.Knowledge of modern IT business systems is an advantage.You have the ability to work in a highly global environment and are able to adapt a rapidly changing environment.A high level of analytic and planning skills as well as the ability to manage several projects simultaneously throughout different areas of the globe is prerequisites. In addition you have a high level of initiative, drive and determination to achieve goals and targets set.It is essential that you have well developed interpersonal scope and are a good team player.You have exellent communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and verbal. Annual sales 2007 amounted to about SEK 33,100 M, with approximately 15,200 employees.
