We are now looking for an IT Responsible Sweden to our regional headquarter in Stockholm – a crucial role in the development of tools and solutions to support our business and growth agenda in Olympus’ North Region.

Job description
As IT Responsible for Olympus Sweden you have two main areas of responsibilities.

The primary area is to proactively identify Olympus’ technology needs and to manage the delivery of IT Solutions within Olympus’ North Region which consists of the Nordics, Baltics and the Netherlands. You will work closely with the business to capture its demands, convert this into defined IT requirements and finally assess and implement the appropriate IT solutions. You will also work in close cooperation with the Regional IT Manager to develop regional and local strategy, ensure that day-to-day business operations are stable and to lead continuous improvement.

The other area of responsibility is to act as main contact person for the Swedish organization with regards to the coordination of third-party providers. IT support has recently been outsourced, and you will play a key role in ensuring that this works as expected and that the local organization manages the transition. Furthermore, you will act as subject matter expert for local IT infrastructure services and be involved in budget work in close cooperation with the Regional IT Manager.

Initially the role will be more focused on the local Swedish organization in order to get to know the local organization and to ensure that it utilizes the recently outsourced IT support successfully. However, as this becomes routine the ambition is to shift emphasis towards the primary area and the regional responsibility. All in all the position as IT Responsible is new, and you will be most involved in and expected to contribute to the shaping the role as a whole.

Qualifications
In order to be successful in the position as IT Responsible we believe that you have a profound technical understanding, and perhaps a background within infrastructure/support. We believe that you have come in contact with both demand management and service operations. Certifications (e.g. ITIL) and/or experience from project management is considered meriting. You are fluent in both Swedish and English.

You are analytical and have a strong business mindset with the ability to both find ways to create value for the organization, as well as to convince others of your suggestions. Furthermore, you are outgoing and comfortable in talking in front of groups, when presenting business cases for management or educating colleagues at staff meetings.
