Risk & Compliance Consulting (RCC) at KPMG Advisory is a diverse team of around 65 colleagues with subject matter expertise in risk transformation, compliance, forensic investigations and fraud risk management, internal control, risk management, internal audit and sustainability. We work with the full spectra of risk advisory services and our people have highly diverse backgrounds including legal, engineering, systems science, accounting and political science.

Your role
You will be part of our RCC team working as a risk consultant in different industries and sectors together with competent and inspiring colleagues across KPMG. Our RCC practice is highly diverse and international to mirror our clients and engagements. As a risk consultant within our RCC practice, you will assist our clients in managing and transforming their risk management and compliance processes to meet ever increasing demands from customers and regulators. You need to be a passionate person and we are looking for candidates who have an interest in IT and experience in IT risk management related matters.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with some of the best subject matter experts in the field, and to develop as a professional advisor and risk consultant. As a person, you need to thrive in the ever-changing and dynamic environment and in the project-based role of a consultant. You must have a desire to work side-by-side with others in team-based roles to solve our clients’ requests. You will work with different risk management agendas, and should be prepared to try different engagements within the broader governance, risk management and internal control area. Our engagements are increasingly related to digitalization and IT which is why we are looking for candidates with experience and an appetite for technology.

As a risk consultant with a particular focus on IT risk, you will be involved in various client engagements within different sectors. More specifically, in your role you will together with other colleagues:

- Advise clients on general risk management and internal control design matters or assist in evaluating and reviewing control systems
- Advise clients on internal control structures over IT based on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Work with clients in key domains of compliance controls over IT.
- Assist clients with the management of IT risk (e.g. controls over systems and applications) across the enterprise, as part of a broader risk management agenda.
- Assist clients with the design of policies, procedures and standards that meet existing and newly developed regulatory requirements.
- Perform reviews for clients, in particular related to internal controls over IT
- Advise and inform clients on how to improve IT risk management and improve their risk management processes with a special attention to IT.
- Perform investigations related to technology based on potential breaches or fraud.
- Undertake workshops and train stakeholders and clients on how to best manage IT risks.

We are looking for high-performing professionals who have between 2-5 years of experience from IT risk management and governance, risk management and compliance. Personal characteristics include a strong business focus, excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a team-oriented way of working. We value team players, international experience, diverse backgrounds and strong drive and passion! Fluency in Swedish and English is expected, multilingual proficiency is meritorious.
