IT sales for educational sector

Our customer, a well-known international software company is looking for an IT sales person for educational sector to work in their office located in Akalla.




Team:


This person will be joining a team of 5 sitting in Sweden and will be responsible for the Education sector. The education sector is one of the fastest growing markets in CDS (Consumer and Device Sales), making this an exciting time to join the team.


This is a new position and required the joiner to be very self-sufficient, they will have the support of the wider team but it is down to them so get things moving in the right direction and leading the position forward.




Tasks:


- Reseller channel map: identifies what are the key resellers selling or influencing device sales, volume, share and identifies key opportunities
- Help manage the Edu device portfolio at partners (assortment, pricing, availability).

- Cooperate with partners for key RFPs and tenders to ensure the solution is well positioned

- Map key engagement opportunities for customer withkey partners (events, trainings, sales activations, tenders, etc)

- Create demand generation plans with managed partners: affordable win devices are part of the marketing activities and resellers sites telling the right story (Leveraging and owning Edu wins)

- Ensure resellers have the right level of supply (follows orders)

- Accountable for device sales and share growth in the managed Academic partners

- Manage Edu Wins and ensure ROI of activities and engagement of local Edu teams where applicable

- Help manage the Edu device portfolio at partners (assortment, pricing, availability)

- Cooperate with partners for key tenders to ensure the customer solution is well positioned (solutions such as intune, autopilot, teams, etc.)

- Map key engagement opportunities for customer withkey partners (events, trainings, sales activations, tenders, etc)


Skills and requirements:


- prior IT work experience with a strong enthusiasm for devices +3 years

- Understanding and interest in Devices

- very self-sufficient

- Identify trends affecting device sales by understanding the Market.

- Good at taking lead, self-starter, driven. Used to working in this way.

- University Degree is preferred but not essential.

- Fluent Swedish and English languages




Start date:Asap in February/March


Duration: until 30th June with extension possibility for 1 year
