IT security engineer

Job Description
The responsibility of the IT Security engineer is to make sure that the organization’s SaaS platforms and IT services are in compliance with relevant regulations and adjusted to business risks. Assessio’s IT/Engineering team comprises individuals with a broad range of cultural backgrounds. Your contribution will be essential to both the team and the business success of Assessio group. We are thus looking for a team player with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
Main Responsibilities
· Test, audit, analyze and improve the IT security and compliance (GDPR, ISO27001) of Assessio group
· Design, update and control internal IT security procedures
· Investigate IT security incidents, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders
· Plan and oversee penetration testing activities
· Vulnerabilities identification and fixing
· Collaborate with external audits, in particular ISO27001
· Promote security awareness inside Assessio group
Qualifications
· B.Sc degree or higher in relevant engineering field
· Minimum of 4 years of hands-on web application and network IT security work experience
· Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Security Incidents handling
· Technical background in designing, implementing and improving IT Security solutions.
· Experience from working with cloud-based systems security, particularly AWS
· Knowledge of ISO27001 requirements and certification processes
· Knowledge of GDPR regulations
· Ability to balance business needs and IT security requirements
· IT Security related certifications is an advantage
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Good communication skills
· Good English skills (speaking and writing)
Reporting
The IT security engineer is reporting to the CTO
