IT-security expert

Tele2 is looking to expand the team of IT-security experts and specialists that work with technical cybersecurity issues in our global operations. The Tele2 CSIRT (Cyber Security Incident and Response Team) is the technical IT-security resource for the Tele2 group and performs tasks in several capacities, such as:


• Incident response
• IT-security investigations
• Internal penetration testing
• Vulnerability management
• SOC and SIEM
• Deploying and monitoring IT-security appliances in Tele2 networks
• Supporting internal development with IT-security expertise
• Be a consultative part in the development of IT-security policy documentation
• Be a consultative part in the development of necessary educational material to the Tele2 organization


In the Tele2 CSIRT, you will work in a team located in Sweden providing IT-security services as central function to Tele2. You will be responsible for investigating IT-security events and coordinating and escalating responses. You will also be responsible for proactively improving the IT-security posture of Tele2 operations by finding security issues, assessing them and working with the responsible teams to remediate them. You will also participate in advising other parts of the Tele2 organization about security decisions.


Your experience includes:
• University degree in IT
• Experience and interest in the IT-security field
• Network infrastructure penetration testing
• Web application penetration testing
• Broad general IT security knowledge
• Fluent in Swedish and English


Skill and experience in the following areas is advantageous:
• Computer forensics
• Vulnerability management
• IT-security communication skills
• Providing IT-security training


It is important that you are able to work with a wide variety of systems, and are comfortable with researching and presenting security solutions for both technical and non-technical colleagues. As part of the role as an IT-security expert you will help to ensure that IT-security is always on the agenda! In the role as IT-Security expert you will have periods that includes 24/7 on-call support.
