For the Business Area (BA) Markets we are looking for the right person to fill the position as
IT Security Expert
You will work together with other Security and IT Experts guiding our evolution of our IT systems so that they are fit for purpose given the increasing IT threat situation.


Your main tasks as IT Security Expert:
Proactive vulnerability analysis - network level and down - including vendors/external solutions. Together with BIO (Business Information Officer) and BISO (Business Information Security Officer) explaining the situation and proposed solutions to many, often senior, stakeholders.
Evaluate vulnerability/warning reports from authorities (BSI, CERT and similar)
Develop and drive the execution of plans for strengthening the IT/OT protection and resilience/recovery capabilities
Handling of IT security related incidents and exceptions
Develop and educate around development standards related to security (integrated in overall development standards)
Support audits of external vendors & Support audits of us when applicable
Support/guidance regarding security solutions in different Agile teams (consulting on demand)
Take the role of BA Market BITSO (Business IT Security Officer) and represent BA Market in the IT Security Forum on the Group level
Working closely together with BISO:s & being part of the Strategic Architecture team
Regularly report overall status in the BAM Security Steerco



Your profile as IT Security Expert:
You are passionate about making a difference and delivering results in an industry that is vital for society. You have excellent cooperation and communication skills, with the ability to analyze multifaceted problems and convey complex information. You are good at establishing trust in those you work with and live the Vattenfall principles of active, positive, open and safety.


Your qualifications and capabilities:
Good understanding and preferably experience from Cyber/Ransomware attacks and recovery from these.
Good understanding about how hackers work and different attack vectors and typical cyber security vulnerabilities as well as how to build up proper defense solutions. Experience from the MS Defender tool suite is an advantage.
Good understanding about IT architecture and especially how to segment and structure the network.
Overall understanding about ISO27001 and controls
Overall understanding about ITIL and effective Life cycle management
