Arbetsbeskrivning
Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we’re now taking the next step in our quest to disrupt the industry and challenge the status quo. In this specific case, we’re aiming to accelerate the growth of our digital products portfolio by introducing a new division into the Sandvik family – Design & Planning Automation, a proud member of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions.
To give you a glance of our reality, you’ll be joining a place of innovation, speed, agility and inclusive collaboration. A place where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing, and where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of digital products and businesses based on the needs of the market and our customers. To support us, we’re joining forces with our industry focused R&D organization and we’re building a modern innovation lab to explore our solutions in a real live setting.
Do you want to shape the future of manufacturing? Start by joining our crew!
We’re now looking for an IT Security Manager - keeping us two steps ahead when we build our digital defense and ensuring that cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar as we move into new technology.
About the job
Once joining us, you’re responsible for protecting both customer and company information, and securing our IT infrastructure. This means designing and implementing a strong security plan for our business – in line with the overall security strategy for the Sandvik Group – and making sure we minimize the risk of potential security threats or breaches, as well as understand their possible impact on our operations. You’re our gateway to the wider organization in IT security matters, and an important representative at the Sandvik Group IT council. By close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, you ensure that upcoming security concerns are identified, understood and rapidly addressed, and you drive a non-stop development of security standards and best practices.
In this ever-changing field, you need to stay updated on applicable laws and regulations, and you curiously investigate the market and cybersecurity trends to bring us solutions that meet the needs of evolving technology. Your daily tasks are both strategical and practical, as you act behind the scenes, but also take part in projects, audits, meetings and discussions. Other important items on your agenda are providing our management with relevant security information and hands-on supporting us in managing our digital security footprint.
Our headquarters are at brand new offices in the old “gas works” in central Stockholm, but for this job you may work from a flexible location within Sweden – as long as it meets our security protocol.
About you
You need a broad background within IT and a genuine interest in modern security practices in a cloud environment. Your knowledge is backed by a degree in IT or Computer Science, and you have been working for at least five years in a software technology setting – preferably connected to the manufacturing industry. We consider a CISSP or GIAC certification as a bonus, and we believe that you’re skilled in risk assessments and stakeholder interactions. As we’re a global business, you also need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
For this job, we think that you’re highly analytical and organized, while at the same time very communicative and outgoing. You like a thorough problem-solving and you’re skilled in sharing your insights with others. As you speak the language of developers, and also understand the basic of coding, you easily create trusting collaborations and you inspire a strong culture of security awareness.
Our Sandvik culture
Sandvik is a high-tech and global engineering group, rapidly developing into new, digital offerings. We believe in a collaborative and inclusive culture, where innovations are part of everyday life.
