Assignment Description:
We are recruiting a Cyber Security Analyst for preparing and establishing security monitoring within the existing monitoring solution together with the authority's IT operations and the authority's security function. The assignment also involves operational security work within the customer's IT operations team.
What you'll do:
● Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause and work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
● Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard and stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news.
● Develop company-wide best practices for IT security and perform penetration testing.
● Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management.

Who you are:
● Candidate should possess 3 months of experience working with soc building in the public sector over the past year.
● Experience working with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing over the past year.
● Candidate should possess at least 3 months of experience working with security auditing over the past year.
● Prior experience with log analytics from a security perspective over the past year.
● Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills of Swedish and English language.
● Technical experience with tool Bloodhound, Nessus and certification in penetration testing and Splunk, at least Splunk Power User.
