We are recruiting an IT Security Specialist
The Director of Cyber Security is responsible for the group wide Information Security- and Cyber security program. Permobil's business is global and the function therefore operates at a global scale. This is a newly established function and is therefore currently under a lot of change and expansion. As an IT Security Specialist you will be the main party responsible for driving the internal security operational activities as described below, together with IT operations and external parties. IT Security Specialist is a role where you will get the opportunity to work broadly within the area and affect the way of working to a large extent yourself.
Your role - Areas of responsibility
- Overall responsible for safeguarding the day-to-day security operational activities
- Maintain computer systems at an acceptable level of risk
- Manage and resolve security incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets
- Identify threats against and vulnerabilities in computer assets. Implement remediation plans to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Provide assurance on the effectiveness of controls in place to protect company computer systems and the integrity of operational processes supporting them e.g. network controls, firewalls etc.
- As an IT Security Specialist, you will be the responsible party to design and implement the technical security programs, e.g. incident/response, IOT and IT Security Operations.
- You are supporting the front-line defense of networks and protecting information from unauthorized access and violations.
- You will be the internal party responsible for driving tests/exercises/drills of response plans as well as attack and penetration tests (support from externals in actual performance)
- Support the organization in technical security expertise
- Work closely to the Director of Cyber Security and operational teams in reacting to security incidents
- Oversee the use of security tools, including Vulnerability Assessment, SIEM & automated scripts, for compliance, safety and security of the company.
Your profile - Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience from working (hands-on) within the area of IT Security, and preferably operationally with incident and response
- An understanding of fundamental principles within Information Technology
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of all infrastructure services (Server, Network, Telephony, etc.)
- Knowledge and natural interest in technological trends and developments in Cyber Threat mitigation, information security and risk management
- Experience of cloud (Azure, AWS), Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, Apple)
- Knowledge of UNIX, Python, Ruby and PowerShell
- Strong skills in English, both in writing and verbally
Desired
- Bachelor or master’s degree within computer science, preferably with a Cybersecurity focus
- Experience from implementation of SIEM and/or MDR solutions
- One or more security related certifications (e.g. CISSP)
- One or several SANS trainings
Personality
You are a problem solver with confidence and a positive attitude. You are a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge with everyone in an informative manner. Good time management skills are essential, and you are driven by development and learning.
The position is located in Sweden, Timrå or Kista alternatively US, Nashville. Both international and national trips are necessary to some extent for this position.
