Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior IT Security Specialist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Introduce, develop, and manage IT security requirements and protocols to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Collaborate with the IT department to provide expert guidance in selecting and implementing IT security measures.
Conduct assessments to evaluate compliance with existing IT security requirements and identify areas for improvement.
Enhance internal IT security practices through the optimization of tools and methodologies.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between IT security strategies and broader organizational goals.
Provide expertise in strategic IT security initiatives in alignment with ISO27000, CIS Controls, or NIST CSF frameworks.
Configure and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to monitor and respond to security incidents.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate IT security incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective measures.
Lead and document threat and risk analyses to provide actionable insights for security enhancements.
Stay updated with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in the IT security landscape.
Mentor and guide junior members of the team, sharing your expertise and promoting continuous learning.

What you bring:
Minimum of 8 years of experience as an IT security specialist (Level 4 proficiency).
Proven expertise in IT security practices, protocols, and methodologies.
Strong understanding of industry frameworks such as ISO27000, CIS Controls, or NIST CSF.
Hands-on experience in configuring and managing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
Proficiency in analyzing, troubleshooting, and investigating IT security incidents.
Ability to lead and document threat and risk analyses to guide security strategies.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Relevant certifications in the IT security field (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or equivalent certifications.

Meritorious Skills:
Experience with strategic IT security initiatives aligned with ISO27000, CIS Controls, or NIST CSF.
Expertise in configuring and managing SIEM tools for comprehensive threat detection and response.
Familiarity with leading and documenting threat and risk analyses.
