IT security specialists/Penetration tester

Do you want to participate in the formation and operation of a Security Team, working to secure assets and information with high security standards? Do you have a deep knowledge on IT Security technology, operations and the implementation of regulatory requirements? We are now looking for experienced and solid professionals with a dedicated interest and a critical eye for IT-security which want to work with both proactive as well as operational tasks.
Vattenfall IT is putting together a team of experts to provide services for a dedicated environment - Red IT. As a member of the Security Team, you will be responsible for enabling and maintaining a high overall level of IT security by operational as well as proactive activities. In performing its operational task, the team will operate as 2nd line of support by performing incident management, investigations, forensics and threat hunt activities. Side by side with its operational work the team will also be proactive by coordinating the function of the SOC, performing vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and providing advice on IT-security.
As a penetration tester of the Security Team, you will mainly work proactively by testing and evaluating the security of network security architecture, applications, operating systems and API: s. You will also participate in the organization of penetration tests, from start to the delivery of reports and documentation. As a member of the team, you will also contribute to threat modelling sessions, incident management, threat hunt activities, and cooperate with stakeholders as an IT security expert.

Competence, experience and personal skills
• University degree or equivalent knowledge achieved by experience in IT-security, software testing or audit
• Several years of experience in penetration testing
• Deep knowledge of Windows Active Directory vulnerabilities and their exploitation
• Experience of Windows operating system, security tools and functionality,
• Certifications, for example OSCP, SANS 660, GIAC advanced penetration tester
• Enjoy challenges, interest to keep develop and learn about tools and methods of penetration testing and IT-security, curious
