IT Security Student to Codan

What you get

The job
At the Security Monitoring team, you will be a part of an attractive and dynamic work environment. You will have great colleagues to mentor you and make sure your onboarding is successful.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Investigation of alerts from Codan’s Security Operations Center. Here you will contact users, educate them on good behavior based on alerts and contact Security Operations to block suspicious URLs and review threat and vulnerability intel against infrastructure, and get it to the relevant team in Operations for mitigation.
• Handle shared security mailbox regarding all kinds of inputs.
• Handle Data Loss Prevention incidents review in the Symantec DLP tool deciding if an incident should be raised.
• Handle risk incidents (which are business users incidents concerns related to IT) and investigate with relevant teams.

You will attend briefings in the work with your colleagues who will help you prioritize the tasks.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:

• You are studying IT security or general IT and have core interest in IT security. You have at least one year left.
• You have a general understanding of IT security-related concepts
• You speak English and one Nordic language on a professional level
• You like working in a dynamic team with lots of urgent tasks


Practical information
You will be employed as a temp through StudentConsulting. The position is temporary with a start date as soon as possible until December 31st, 2022. The period might be prolonged.
You will work approximately 20 hours per week between Monday and Friday within normal office hours.
