Service Desk Analyst/Support Technician Purpose of role Development, implementation and day-to-day operations of Cochlear BAS information technology infrastructure consistent with Cochlear's global strategy. Provide Server/Client/Lan management covering all aspects of network administration and security along with implementing improvements to Cochlear BAS infrastructure. Key responsibilities . First line support via telephone, case management systems, and personal contacts . Install and deliver new client computers . Manage patching of access switches (HP Procurve) . Troubleshoot and if necessary, reinstall existing client computers . User Accounts (Add / Change / Delete) in Active Directory and Lotus Domino Directory . Arrange and conduct training courses such as IT induction training for new recruits . Support of printers, telephones, cell phones . Support of multimedia equipment in conference rooms and other facilities . Manage the purchase of computers and peripherals . Continuously define and document procedures and processes . Ensure that the IT department as well as other part of the company stays within the company's IT policy Key Competencies . Experience of Microsoft Windows client (XP Pro) and Microsoft Active Directory (AD). . In addition to Swedish, proficient English in speaking and writing . Experience with service desk / help desk work . Knowledge of Lotus Notes / Domino . Good understanding of the most common office applications such as: Microsoft Office 2000/2003/2007, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Adobe Suites etcetera. Key incumbent requirements . University / college educated preferably with IT focus . Experience in Support of telephony systems is meritorious . Certifications in Lotus, Microsoft is not required, but desirable . Precise and analytical . Independent and driving . Ability to handle stress . Ability to work in multicultural environment What can Cochlear offer you? .
