The Group IT provides strategic IT support to the SKF organization by developing sound strategies and managing selected service providers. We have presence in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Our targets it to;
Be proficient when we govern and plan SKF IT investments and architecture
Be efficient when we build and deploy the SKF IT environment
Secure stable operations and support in close relation to the SKF business
Strengthen the co-operation with UNITE by joint planning and execution of the co-existence IT-landscape
Reduce complexity, lead-times and bureaucracy and to deliver value to SKF faster
A major ‘uplift’ program has been running over the last 2 years called Next Generation Workplace. This program has now materialised, and needs a steady-state organisation with clear Service ownership, both for continued development services, as well as daily support services.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate service manager to drive & develop the SharePoint services, helping to take Workplace services to the next level in SKF. The role of the IT Service Manager SharePoint is to secure the delivery & development of SharePoint in SKF Group. This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring performance, improving the services, as well as aligning services with Business & IT strategy.
Job responsibilities
Service owner for SharePoint, ensuring an end-to-end delivery, including security, strategy and compliance
Ensure SharePoint support SKF business in delivering their business goals & strategies, advising & helping the SKF Business how to effectively use the services
Drive planning and deployment of SharePoint in a team/project capacity to SKF Globally, which will include training & support to end-users
Provides support to projects in Workplace/SharePoint area
Close cooperation with outsourcing supplier used in the area
Drives standardization, consolidation and constant modernization, ensuring SharePoint is considered standard collaboration tool in SKF
Close cooperation with SKF Group Communication Intranet & Collaboration teams
Close cooperation with other Service Managers in the Workplace Services team
Monitor & analyze the IT industry ensuring SKF is up-to-date in the SharePoint area
Contribute to daily operation of the Workplace Services team through shared operational problem solving to ensure the combined success of the team
Job Requirements
University degree
Highly skilled in SharePoint deployment, development and related services
Skilled in cloud services like Office365 / SharePoint Online
Deploying SharePoint in a multinational organisation
Experience from IT change and project management
Experience working in an outsourced IT environment, managing vendors
Fluency in English is required
Personal profile
Driven and passionate about working on the forefront of modern technologies
Passionate in delivery world-class service to IT users
Team-player and highly self-motivated
Skilled in communication in a highly international environment
Additional information
The position will be preferably located in Gothenburg, Sweden and reports to the Manager Workplace Services Build & Deploy in Group IT.
