IT Service Owner

About the job
As an IT Service Owner, you’re the customer interface between IT and the business, as you’re responsible for the IT Application Services connected to our sales and marketing functions. This means analyzing, controlling and following up on our service levels, as well as producing and presenting regular reports on our performance and achievements to relevant stakeholders. You work in close collaboration with the business and other service providers to set the framework, review, negotiate and agree on service levels, and you manage the incoming pipeline of both new services and changes to existing ones. Other items included on your agenda are to define metrics and KPIs for evaluating service delivery quality and high performance in our service operations.


You’re a key player in ensuring that application governance and processes are in place, updated and adhered to, and you initiate actions for improvements when you find it necessary. You also act as an important change agent for implementing and managing quality enhancement processes in our service delivery management.


We offer flexible working conditions, but your base is in either Sandviken or Stockholm (Sweden), or in Tampere (Finland). You report to the IT Delivery Manager for Shared Services within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology.


About you
We’re looking for someone with a degree in IT or the equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. You have experience within IT delivery and service management, and you’re skilled in independently creating structures and managing a variety of stakeholders. Previously working as a Service Owner is beneficial, as is knowledge of ITIL processes and insights into Salesforce and the Customer Portal system. As we operate on the global stage, you must be fluent in English, both written and verbally.
