IT Service Owner – IT Assets and IT Support

Successful candidates would join the Group function Development & Operations Services (DOS), which leads NCC’s strategy development and major change programs in the business. With 130+ employees, DOS also drives research and innovation and is NCC’s development and delivery function for IT and operations development.  

 

Your role
As IT Service Owner you are accountable for end-to-end service delivery and development including all service offerings, in particular the value that the service delivers. Responsibility area for this position is for the IT Assets and IT Support categories within the Product Portfolio. 

Within the IT organization in NCC we have adopted a matrix organization where most employees are located in our Competence Center. In this role you will have a leading role on the day-to-day operations of the services within your area, but your team members are reporting to the manager in the Competence Center. Collaboration with other IT Service Owners and Business stakeholders on tactical level through set governance is one important task as well as follow-up on the delivery and setting the long-term development roadmap for the services. You will participate in the development of our services, contribute with your knowledge and expertise to visualize strategies, roadmaps and develop our existing organization, keeping up to date with technical developments.

The IT Assets area contains hardware assets such as Computers, Printers, Mobile Telephony and software asset management. IT Support mainly consist of our ITSM tool ServiceNow and self-service capabilities in service portal build on the same ITSM platform. 

We’re looking for an IT Service Owner to: 


• Be responsible for the management, operations and delivery of defined Product categories according to the service levels, agreed with the business. 
• Plan, organize, lead and coordinate on tactical level the efforts to accomplish goals and objectives using available resources. 
• Manage suppliers, and act as agreement owner.
• Lead the tactical governance forums both with stakeholders and with key suppliers within your area of responsibility. 
• Plan for and Request resources from IT Competence Center.
• Plan, develop, manage and follow-up the work within the team.

 

Your profile
As a person you are driven and committed to secure delivery of value to NCC business. You have excellent communication skills and like to build sustainable relationships with others. You like challenges and have good planning capability on both short- and long term as well as transforming the plans to a value generating delivery to NCC business.    

We believe that you have an academic degree or similar in IT and have good knowledge of work processes in large companies. You have experience from leading positions before and managing of teams. You are fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages, both verbally and written. Experience from working with ITSM platforms and Asset Management are important to succeed in the role. Other important experiences are ITIL and Agile processes.

This is a permanent position located in HQ in Solna, Helsinki, Copenhagen or Oslo. Some travelling may occur. In this position you will be reporting to Head of Product Development and Operations.
