IT Service Technician

We are looking for a person with experience in end user IT support. You will be member of our international IS&T Department providing support for Europe and Asia. Your daily work is close to our end-users. Your primary responsibility is to support the user base through the Helpdesk, on the phone and via email. This support includes but is not limited to the following: User Account administration in internal and external systems. You will also be responsible for end user support on all software and hardware (laptops, desktops, printers) that users may have regardless of origin. Your essential duties and responsibilities will be: -Helpdesk, create IT issue reports or requests (Tickets) for users, train users on Helpdesk use, check the Ticket Queue on a regular basis, accept or help assign tickets. Resolve and close tickets in a timely manner. -Account Administration. Add/Delete/Change user accounts for systems in use -Documentation - help to maintain documentation for IT -Software Support - help to troubleshoot issues, install, remove, delete and configure software -Hardware Support - help to troubleshoot issues, effect warranty repairs, reimage or repair all hardware (as assigned) that may be on site, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, wireless access points, handheld scanners, projectors, telephones (mobile or landline). -Maintain Inventory - includes tracking stock, cleaning and organizing storage, maintaining server rooms and wiring closets- -Train users as required on use of issued hardware, software and communication equipment. -Other Projects as assigned. We expect your competence to be: -Experience in the related area. -Good understanding of hardware, Windows based IT infrastructure and network solutions. -Perform a variety of tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. -Good command of English and Swedish, both written and verbal. The position is based in Mullsjö, Sweden and includes occasional business travel.
