The arena
The IT Services function is the core back office Infrastructure Service responsible for the IT Infrastructure the entire organisation runs on. The function will provide world class capability for Infrastructure development and services and use standard ITIL processes to ensure Infrastructure Services are developed and delivered into the AZ landscape in an effective manner. The function is truly global in scale with resources in Asia, US, Sweden and the UK.
'Global Workplace' is a key part of this function, accountable for End-User and On Site IT services across AstraZeneca. The function is made up of Regional Delivery teams underpinned by a Global Workplace Capability group. The Workplace team will be the representative of IT Services at AstraZeneca?s sites and within Customer-Facing IT service reviews. Global Workplace is part of the AZ Infrastructure & Operations Group.
The role
This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a world-class Training capability that improves the customer experience and champions the best practice usage of IT Services (core client applications/software) as well as IT Self Service capabilities.
This role will report to the IT Customer Experience Lead in Global Workplace.
This role will be located alongside other Campus IT Team members at key sites and be a key member of that IT on-site team.
This role will support the Lead Trainer for the given region or country on shared initiatives and requirements.
This role will have a specific site base and any other sites supported will be visited.
This role will be responsible for developing and conducting training programmes, media, courses and delivery (enterprise or locally defined).
Support or sometimes lead customer facing IT initiatives at key sites.
Responsible for all training queries for a particular site or function.
Involved in the Training needs analysis for that site or function.
This role will be an individual contributor and may be required to travel between local sites on a regular basis.
Candidate Focus & Challenge:
Enterprise activities
Support to key IT Enterprise Programmes including supporting development of training plans, media, materials, courses and delivery.
Training from Introduction to Advanced level on standard applications that are part of the AZ/MedI core client, e.g. MS Office 2007-2013* products. As required, other specific applications, tools and devices dependent on business deployment, size and complexity......
