IT Solution Analyst – Network & Telecom

We can offer you a challenging position at Husqvarna working with a critical technology area within IT. As we are strengthening our IT-organization we are looking for a driven Solution Analyst.

Job description:

The Solution Analyst - Network & Telecom is responsible for design & architecture of solutions within the following areas:

- LAN, WLAN and WAN
- Internet connectivity, remote access and network security
- Unified communications (based on Cisco’s IP platform)

You will focus on maintaining a robust and secure network backbone, and develop concepts and roadmap for Husqvarna’s future IP/UC platforms.

In this position you will work in close collaboration with solution architects and specialists from external service providers responsible for global WAN and Infrastructure services. In day-to-day delivery you will oversee & approve critical changes, identify & drive problem management activities, as well as ensure pro-active capacity planning. You will review new business demand and translate into specific requirements on the IP/UC platform, and govern IT standards and policies within your technology domain.

Furthermore, you will oversee and participate in solution design work in various projects to ensure delivery of high performing and secure IS/IT solutions.

About you:

We think that you have a relevant educational background for the specified position. You have 5 years of work experience with 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a larger international company. You have previous experience of working with outsourced IT services and large scale WAN’s. Relevant Cisco certifications are required, and ITIL certifications are meritorious.

To manage tasks of this position effectively it is essential that you have a good understanding of core business processes and supporting IT systems.

You have the ability to communicate both in written presentation and in speech. As we are a global organization this includes excellent skills in English. It’s important that you are a well-organized person who likes to work in a structured way and actively work on preserving the established processes and procedures. Since Husqvarna is a global company, occasional overseas travel is required.

GIS is responsible for delivery of IT services throughout the group and the organization is based on major hub sites Huskvarna, Sweden and Charlotte, U.S. The ITS (IT Services) department within GIS is responsible for delivery of new IT solutions and ongoing IT services. ITS is organized in three delivery functions; Solution Services, Information Services and Infrastructure Services, while Service Integration Management and ITSM process governance is provided by the Service Management Office (SMO).
