IT Solution Architect

Manufacturing IT Competence Center (MIT) is expanding as we are now looking for an IT Solution Architect to join our team.
MIT is responsible for managing IT activities related to Manufacturing within Husqvarna Forest & Garden Division. MIT is part of Husqvarna Group’s IT department – Global Information Services (GIS). In this department we develop, implement, maintain and support global IT solutions aiming for increased efficiency and customer value.

What you will do
As a Solution Architect you will take part in defining a common technical and architectural vision and roadmap for solutions within the manufacturing domain. You will participate in defining the information flow, interfaces, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate alternatives – together with the operational and development teams as well as with domain and enterprise architects. As a Solution Architect you will have the total solution perspective, and you are responsible for developing technical solutions that give our business the very best experience. One part of the role is also to take part in and help design future implementations in our factories to enable them to digitize and automate.

Key responsibilities:
You are responsible for design and architecture of Manufacturing IT solutions to support Manufacturing processes.
You pro-actively identify and advise on opportunities (such as new technologies or ways-of-working) in order to deliver better business result.
In close collaboration with other IT architects, domain architects and stakeholders, you will shape ideas into concrete, robust and maintainable solutions architectures. This mean that you are translating business requirements into solution design and that you understand the purpose of the solution from the business point of view.
You follow relevant policies, principles, rules and standards. If they are not contributing to business value, you will suggest revisions.
When new projects within the domain are requested, you will work with investigation and requirements gathering as well as evaluation of the solution in order to evaluate functional capabilities, the business benefits and how well the solution will fit into Husqvarna IT landscape.



Objectives
Ensure that the technical decisions result in systems and solutions that are aligned with business visions and outcome, as well as the Operational domain roadmap.
Participate in decision forum and be the driver in the process of creating the basis for decisions.
Align with Husqvarna Security directives and fulfilling the Business demands for information security


Who you are
In order for you to be successful in this role we believe that you are a person with a strong collaborative approach in you work. You have a “can do” attitude and you are comfortable in who you are, knowing what values drives and defines you as a person.

Other requirements for this role are:
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as an IT Architect/Solution Architect
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
English and Swedish both written and orally.
Experience from working in large scale projects with IT architecture and design
Have an interest in or experience of working with IT solutions to meet the business demands of our stakeholders in the Manufacturing area.
