We are looking for Solution Architect to join our Change Lead team - a team loaded with experience, professionalism and passion. In order to make it easier for our stakeholders to work with us, we need to be more transparent and predictable. Our Change Lead team is the forerunner for us to make us more agile, more Nordic, more aligned - to be better version of us. As Solution Architect you will together with your Nordic colleagues play an important role in our success to reach this goal.
About this opportunity
We are responsible for the existing core systems in Nordea Technology organisation. We add value by delivering stable core services for all of Nordea and thus enabling among others digital banking services. Our application landscape on mainframe, midrange and JAVA covers services and solutions such as accounts, loans, customer data and payments in all Nordic Countries.
What you’ll be doing:
Together with your Architect colleagues (‘roadmappers’) develop and maintain our IT Application Roadmap and support the end-to-end value chain
Identify possibilities for evolving the architecture in order to achieve less complexity, increased maintainability and reduced cost and risk
Pro-actively drive the creation and maintenance of the IT architecture
Continuously research emerging technologies and proposes changes to the existing architecture
Have close cooperation with Strategic Programmes, surrounding domains and other Architects in Nordea
Act as IT solution sparring partner for team colleagues, e.g. in Design and implementation proposals
Participating in our architectural communities
This role is based in any Nordic countries (DK/Taastrup, FI/Helsinki, NO/Oslo, SE/Stockholm). This is a permanent, full-time, position and preferred starting time is during December 2022 - February 2023. Your experience and background:
* Background as lead developer or solution architect in JAVA area with a track record from complex environment
* Bonus if you have previous experience from integration between JAVA and mainframe environments.
* Experience in delivering key solutions to business benefits
* Experience working with architecture governance, anchoring and collaboration, preferably in SAFe and/or Agile delivery.
* Experienced in working in a virtual team set up
* Experience working as solution architecture and technology with a track record of architecture and software delivery.
* Industry experience within regulated fintech, retail, corporate, banking and/or financial services working with one or more of the capabilities within our architecture portfolios.
* Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
