About the job
The group Industrial Maintenance IT is an emerging team that has the mission to accelerate the business transformation and development of Scania Industrial Maintenance in Södertälje by securing daily business operations, breaking down barriers, and making digitalization a reality. We are now on an Industry 4. journey - to enable Smart Maintenance of production equipment using our in-house IoT (Internet of Things) and analytics solution and we would like you to lead and drive this technical transformation as a Solution Architect by setting the vision and target architecture for this domain; this is a fantastic opportunity to get in and into this journey in one of the most exciting departments at Scania!

What you will do
You will work primarily within the Industrial Maintenance domain and be involved in mapping, improving, and optimizing the domain architecture to ensure it is both fit for use and purpose and compliant to our enterprise guardrails.
You will play a key role in facilitating the reuse of ideas, applications, components, and proven patterns within stakeholders but also across the enterprise by collaborating with other architects.
You will work closely with your Industrial Maintenance IT team as well as your architect peers in other areas and partner with business stakeholders to ensure we have good IT solutions to guide us in the Industry 4.0 journey, overseeing the design, proofs-of-concept, and roll-out of the Smart maintenance solution that introduces the usage of IoT on the production shopfloor - starting with our factories in Södertälje and expanding this to Scania global factories in Brazil, Netherlands, France, and China in the future.
Your daily challenges will be:
Take high-level requirements and build a Solution Architecture that optimizes business value and sustainability, ensuring that expected application quality attribute levels are achieved.
Ensure compliance of the solutions towards non-functional requirements
Own long-term strategic responsibility of the Industrial Maintenance IT Landscape, participating in prioritization meetings and developing recommendations throughout the implementation process
Depending on the competence in place and the nature of the project, contribute with Hands-on development and software architecture thinking
Act as a key member of project and development teams, providing leadership in application design and development
Assist in problem resolution and support the IT teams through consultation and problem research.
Utilize understanding of industry solution trends to innovate and provide new insights during the design phase in different project/product ideas both locally and when interacting with the central organization.
Develop and manage the IT architecture blueprint of the Industrial Maintenance IT Landscape
Understand our Enterprise Guardrails and P&L (Production & Logistics) reference architecture and contribute to its development, actively participating in the Architect community within our department
Strong relationship development and communication with all primary and secondary stakeholders
Your profile
You are a technically strong IT professional who is a quick learner, has knowledge of established and emerging technological trends, and has a strong drive to create sustainable value and make things happen. It is important that you can build and manage relationships, communicate and describe models and concepts, and you can coordinate activities in complex environments.
We also believe that:
You have a university degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent work experience
You are knowledgeable in Industry 4.0 technologies and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) systems and the ISA95 standard.
You have a positive mindset and can express yourself flawlessly in both Swedish and English in both speech and writing, adapting your communication style to people from different backgrounds
It is easy for you to collaborate and you also deliver independently
You have high conceptual skills, take initiative and have a problem-solving mindset, and have worked in a strategic role creating IT solutions, such as Solution Architect or Software Architect with extensive experience in architecting technical solutions in a complex IT landscape.
Having experience and knowledge of the Industrial Maintenance business and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems are merits.
