IT Solution Architect, Group Functions IT

The position we offer

Our unit act as IT partner and provider of IT solutions to support financial anti-crime through work with Know Your Customer (KYC), transactional and fraud monitoring, sanctions and analytics. The key focus in the coming years is to support Financial Anti-Crime Program to secure IT solutions that align with Nordea IT strategy and that meet both short and long term expectations.

As a Senior IT Solution Architect you will take architectural lead and driving solutions for KYC and due diligence with integration to external consuming channels. You will be part of delivering IT solutions and improvements to support KYC according to defined common Financial Anti-Crime Operating Model for the Nordea group.

Your responsibility includes:

- Assure compliance with IT Strategy and principles

- Assure IT Architecture approvals according to IT Governance process in Nordea

- Maintain a strong cooperation with the FCCP programme architect team, GF IT Enterprise Architects and architects for other ongoing Nordea initiatives.

- Assure that vendor solutions adhere to Nordea requirements on solutions

- Keep updated about the latest trends within the world of architecture and you proactively suggest ways to improve our ways of working.

The position will require some travel in the Nordic region.

The qualifications you need

We expect you to have good cognitive and analytical skills, and can work with complex issues on an abstract level. You are able to adopt a long-term perspective and combine that with insightful action. You have the ability to 'make things happen', and to make decisions when necessary.

You have several years work experience as a solution architect, with an understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts and tools. Experience from KYC tools or more generic CRM tools is a clear advantage.

We believe that you have a high degree of relevant understanding of banking business and the holistic understanding of how IT solutions serve business. Preferably you also have experience from working with banking regulations and in particular AML and KYC.

You are an excellent communicator with the ability to facilitate dialogue, with excellent English skills. You have a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics/Finance.
