Vattenfall IT is the internal provider of IT infrastructure services for the entire Vattenfall Group. It is an international shared service center, providing IT services and support. Vattenfall IT Infrastructure supports Vattenfall by having professional people, knowledgeable in both business and IT, integrating services to enable business functions, providing a helicopter view of required services, utilizing the external market, and enforcing standardization to optimize cost efficiency.
Within IT, Client Services is responsible for end user support and workplace services to all Vattenfall employees, delivered by either internal staff or external suppliers.
At this moment we are looking for an IT Solution Designer for Endpoint Manager, for the Competence Area Client Software Distribution Solutions within Client Services / IT Infrastructure.


What are you going to do?
As IT Solution Designer for Endpoint Manager for the competence area Client Software Distribution Solutions you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, support, and improvement of the Client Management Infrastructure.

You will be working closely together with Service Management, Product & Service Delivery Manager (CAR), Operations and all other VF IT departments.
In this role you will maintain contacts and a relationship with the different stakeholders around the different tools and their user groups.


You will be working within these areas:
• Create Roadmaps, long term strategy and design
• Endpoint Manager such as Intune and SCCM
• Endpoint Manager Workloads
• Support, Troubleshoot and Operate Microsoft Windows based client platforms.
• Support the Development team of Microsoft Windows based client platforms.
• Base image creation and Operating system deployment.
• Group Policy management.
• Hardware Certification and peripherals
• Firmware and Driver management
• Deployment technologies
• Platform life cycle management (Evergreen)
• Work together with team on the delivery of Endpoint Manager (Intune / SCCM) and Supporting infrastructure.
• Work together with team on the delivery of Core applications and supporting tools
• 3rd line support of issues with current release.
• Support Problem Management, Critical Incidents, etc.
• Project support.


Who are you?
Among your personal qualifications you have an internal capacity to move things forward, are easy to cooperate with and have effective communication skills. Besides, you are strong in process management and have a helicopter view.


Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:
• 5-10 years’ experience in IT
• Experience in creating presentations for other stakeholders
• Experienced in creating / maintaining a managed enterprise client
• Senior knowledge and experience in Endpoint Manager (Intune / SCCM), MDT and other deployment technologies
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft related Client/Server/Cloud products
• Knowledge of Group Policy Management
• Experience in troubleshooting client platforms and supporting infrastructure
• Experience in working with ITIL processes
• Knowledge of IT security
• Knowledge of application packaging
• A proven ability to communicate with technical experts, customers, and other stakeholders
• Ability to manage stakeholders at times of conflicting interests
• A very good ability to work independently on assignments within a set timetable set own priorities
• The ability to build trust and confidence and to be a team player in an international team
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Location:
The work location is flexible as long as it is a Vattenfall location (for example Gliwice, Katowice, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, London).


Travels:
Furthermore, the position will require incidental travel between Vattenfall locations in these areas.


Security Vetting:
Security Vetting is on of the demands for this position, and part of the application process. To be able to to this you need to live a minimum of 5 years in a row in a country where Vattenfall has a presence.
