IT Solution Expert - roles and authorizations

Ericsson is a leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally.More than 1000 networks in 140 countries utilize our network equipment and 40 percent of all mobile calls are made through our systems.We are one of the few companies worldwide that can offer end-to-end solutions for all major mobile communication standards.The mission of the Ericsson IT organization is to drive service delivery excellence, source value through service integration and managed partner agreements, and drive innovative use of IT to provide Ericsson with a competitive advantage.The IT organization also manages global IT architecture for optimized value against total cost of ownership.Job description The Global Authorization Concept (GAC) was developed by Ericsson to enable and ensure efficient central control over design, development, implementation, administration and usage of access roles in Ericsson IT business systems, servers and databases Responsibilities of the Solution Expert include: - Providing expert knowledge on roles and authorization (R&A) and related services.- Providing expert analysis and design of solutions to meet business needs.- Ensuring adherence to GAC principles, policies, directives and SOX requirements in the delivery of global process oriented IT access roles.- Technical solutions and role design in the R&A area.- Ensuring that all solutions implemented are in line with GAC and steering documents.- Rejecting a demand if it is in conflict with the agreed principles/IT strategy.- Driving and being involved in pre-studies from a technical standpoint.- Having the final say when it comes to choosing technical solutions.The Solution Expert works closely together with IT Service Managers, System Managers and other units, for example Security.
