IT Solution Manager

We are now looking for an IT Solution manager to the Production unit within Telia IT. The Monitoring team within the Production unit are focusing on fast pace consolidation activities across the Telia countries while maintaining the existing service quality. Simplicity and automation are guiding our activities to support our business and stakeholders in the most efficient way. We are looking for motivated drivers to succeed in our journey.
Your next challenge?
As IT Solution Manager, you will work in the Capability team focusing on IT Monitoring solutions. You will be the key-expert in the team that maintains and develops our modern IT Fault Management tools. You will be a part of a multi-national team, where your skills are valued, opinions considered, and constant drive for and delivery of improvements recognized and rewarded all the way through.
In addition, you might need to lead small assignments involving design and discovery of short-term and long-term solutions to our IT applications.
The main responsibilities will be:
Secure quality in our solutions and keep services available
Support our users and increase their knowledge of the solutions
Proactively improve the solutions
Together with the domain architects set the life cycle management (LCM) plan for the solutions
Take part in projects and agile teams for introducing new Fault Management solutions and build future services
Lead solution specific maintenance and development assignments.

Expectations on you as IT Solutions Manager are that you have a genuine technology interest, eager to try new things, enjoy work and contribute to the team and users.
Who are you?
Knowledge and experience:
You have a technical background (IT or Telco), university degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Have experience working in agile or DevOps teams
Have ITIL competence
Have experience of managing external suppliers
Experience working with BMC Truesight, OP5 or any other Fault Management system
Experience as IT Solution Manager within OSS Fault Management area or IT Operations is a plus.

Personal characteristics:
You are positive and open to new ideas and changes and can present them in a structured way to the stakeholders
You understand the importance in delivering quality and being thorough
You like to solve tasks as an individual or in virtual teams, where the ambition is to grow together in the team to a high level in DevOps maturity
You can work in English and any Nordic of Baltic languages, both written and verbally.
