Background
Alfa Laval is currently on a digital transformation journey. As part of this transformation we have created a global organization (70+ people) to strive for a superior and personalized digital customer journey. We are setting ourselves up to work agile, based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) framework. During 2021-2022 we are gradually onboarding new teams and for this reason we are now looking for an experienced Product Owner for the Product Information Management (PIM solutions) area
About the job
The PO for PIM is responsible for close collaboration with Enterprise architects, other SM, product owner(s) and development team. You will represent the solution area (aka PIM and related solutions including adhering integrations) as required regarding technical initiatives.
Key tasks
* Actively participate in our PI planning’s, safeguarding the PIM area
* Translate technical terminology into understandable business terms (appropriate to the audience)
* Safeguards best practice architecture related to the solution area
* Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other direct and indirect team members (cross value stream)
* Provide expertise in the design and maintenance of system integrations related to the solution area
* Ensure the quality of appropriate process and project documentation
* Ability to adhere to defined processes and procedures and suggest improvements
* Provide input on status of current initiatives – pragmatic approaches vs holistic vision – to ensure that the solution is fit for purpose
Who are you?
You are a strong analytical person with problem-solving skills and attention to detail and quality of output. You´re comfortable working cooperatively and effectively with data architecture colleagues (IT) as well as business stakeholders. You´re structured and driven, with the ability to see the big picture, self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize, take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
What you know
To succeed in this role, you have a strong logical understanding of the product data lifecycle and business challenges, as well as knowledge of the platform InRiver PIM. You have previous experience within retailer and distribution businesses/operating models is a plus. Understanding of processes across product & supplier management, data onboarding, enrichment, supply chain, eCommerce & Digital. You also need experience in creating solution requirements documents, functional specifications, and integration designs.
