IT Specialist

We are currently looking for an IT Specialist to join our IT team at our Kista office. This person will be responsible for regional & office network implementation and maintenance, including WAN/LAN/Voice solution design, network equipment configurations and deployment, network system troubleshooting and health checks. Further responsibilities consist of system implementation and maintenance including windows server, web application system, and maintenance database and storage systems, Windows NT, Windows 7 and Linux. The position will also include responsibility for the IT infrastructure construction and maintenance, as well as service provider quotation, bidding, negotiation and supervising the engineering work provided by the service provider. Also included in the role is help desk support (desktop/laptop, scanner, and printer) as well as being responsible for desktop/laptop provisioning, preparation of corporate standard OS/Software/Applications and security settings before distribution to end users. Qualifications and experience To be successful in this role the candidate should have at least 3 years experiences in the related fields. The candidate should have expertise in TCP/IP technologies and WAN technologies, corporate-level network architecture, and know protocols such as PPP and MPLS. The candidate should be familiar in routing protocols and configurations, such as BGP, OSPF etc. Must be familiar with LAN principles, knows building-level LAN requirements and proficient in common LAN protocols and configurations, such as VLAN, STP etc. The candidate should also be familiar with video conference principles and protocols. Experience from IT infrastructure, such as server room facilities, structure and building cabling, system, UPS, enterprise cooling systems is necessary. Experience of door access control/CCTV as well as the command line for our switch/router configuration is beneficial but not essential. Candidate should be proficient with laptop/desktop, OS, office software troubleshooting and maintenance. A Bachelors Degree in Computer or Information related technologies or equivalent background is required. Skills requirements Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. Good communication skills as well as being service minded, optimistic, pro-active and be able to work in a team.
