IT Specialist

The Funcom team consists of over 400 people located in 4 studios - Norway, the US, Portugal, Sweden, a newly opened Romania studio. As part of Funcom’s ongoing growth, and completing a successful turnaround, Funcom is now backed by Tencent, the largest online gaming company in the world!
Now, operations department in Stockholm, Sweden needs a IT Specialist to be an integral part of the studio support team.
Your Mission in Funcom
As a part of the Studio support team, it is a requirement that you are friendly, approachable and responsive to team member needs. You will be an integral part of the studio support team which makes sure the studio is running optimally on a daily basis.
How you can have an impact in your position:

The IT Specialist is responsible for supporting all teams in the studio with all their IT needs, including:
VPN, Parsec and hybrid working tools
License management and workstation setups
General network maintenance and support
Staff IT support
Defining workstation hardware together with development team leads
Procuring hardware, dealing with vendors and partners
Office workflow improvements and setup (booking systems, streaming meetings, events)
Source control server licensing and maintenance

As a part of this role, there are growth opportunities to support the game teams in the long term with:
Build server architecture and build node setup and optimization
SQL, Azure and CI systems such as Jenkins
Perforce server architecture and workflows


We are looking for someone that has:

At least 2 years in a support role
Experience with Office 365, VPN and general networking
A keen interest in games
