We hope you’d like to become one of the team in Piteå municipality!
The administration Samhällsbyggnad works to ensure an attractive and sustainable society for residents, visitors and businesses. Our mission and our activities are influenced by investments to meet the future growth in the region. There are approximately 200 employees within community planning and competence provision. The management staff includes specialists and the IT strategist is one of the roles needed to continue driving forward IT-related development issues.
Job duties
As an IT strategist at Samhällsbyggnad, you will manage and develop the administration's digitalisation work. You are also our representative for the digitalisation work shared with the municipality.

Your skills should, after a period of time, be able to encompass many different activities and areas of legislation. You will need to acquire broad general knowledge of Samhällsbyggnad in order to understand the challenges and couple this to development opportunities based on your specialist area. The role requires contact and collaboration both with other units within Piteå municipality and external collaboration partners. You will need to be comfortable working as both a generalist and a specialist. A specialist in IT matters, but a generalist when it comes to the activities of Samhällsbyggnad.

As a person, you are self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to problem-solve analytically. You find it both easy to collaborate and to familiarise yourself with and understand the activities and how digitalisation influences working methods. The role requires many internal and external contacts, which requires you to be a good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
