By applying for the IT & Strategy Talent Programme you can become 1 of 40 talents working towards that goal. Each of the 40 positions in the programme is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year programme with a strong focus on your development. From the outset you’ll have your own development plan which will be tailored towards a role suitable for you and include building blocks with learning goals towards that target. The focus is very much on learning by doing, and together with your manager you’ll select different assignments and rotations where you’ll participate in real projects, and contribute to fossil free living, at the same time as you get the experience you need to boost your development.

Your role as an Analyst in Group Strategy
You will be part of an agile team that supports in setting Vattenfall’s strategic direction, working with a network of strategists, experts and business developers across Vattenfall and close to the Executive Group Management team. As an analyst you will participate in or drive strategic projects and support the strategy development cycle. Your tasks will include gathering and synthesizing business insights, facilitating workshops and preparing communication and decision material.

Who are you?
Passionate about solving the climate challenge and with the ability to engage in complex business dilemmas. You understand how to have impact by influencing stakeholders and find pragmatic solutions in dialogue with others. We expect you to be creative, a quick and analytical thinker and have excellent communication skills. You need to be curious to learn new things every day and share your unique competencies with others.

As an Analyst in Group Strategy you recognize yourself in the following:
• 1 to 3 years’ experience of developing strategic communication and problem solving, preferably in the energy sector or related industry
• Excellent academic record in business and/or engineering. Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred.
• Track record of activities proving high ambition and drive
• Convincing and clear in communication – in speaking, writing and in Powerpoint
• Strong command of English. Swedish/German/Dutch is a plus

Location
You will be working in the department of Group Strategy and the location for this position is in Stockholm, Sweden.

Selection period starts in April, followed by online tests and interviews in April and May. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of May. The last step will be a pre-employment screening. Starting date of the IT & Strategy Talent Programme will be September 1st 2022.
