By applying for the IT & Strategy Talent Programme you can become 1 of 40 talents working towards that goal. Each of the 40 positions in the programme is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year programme with a strong focus on your development. From the outset you’ll have your own development plan which will be tailored towards a role suitable for you and include building blocks with learning goals towards that target. The focus is very much on learning by doing, and together with your manager you’ll select different assignments and rotations where you’ll participate in real projects, and contribute to fossil free living, at the same time as you get the experience you need to boost your development.
In a world where digital technologies are advancing at a rapid pace, changing the way we communicate and altering customer behavior, we need a Digital Enabler that is passionate about using agile software development to create the best customer experience and great digital journeys on our platforms and applications.
As a Digital Enabler you will:
• Enable the best possible technical solution to be implemented from an end to end customer experience perspective together with your fellow agile software engineers
• Continuously iterate and deliver on product improvements
• Ensure that solutions are robust and sustainable
• Collaborate with UX designers and Business Experts to translate our customers’ expectations into user stories and technical solutions
• Culture first-rate development practices to continuously ship high quality features and improvements
• Drive innovation together with your peers within Vattenfall IT our Business colleagues
Who are you?
• You are a frontend agile software engineer with experience in (+ 2 year):
Angular (version 9 and up), HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Azure DevOps, Git & Gitflow, MS Visual Studio
• You understand and have experience in UX/UI design and the importance of customer driven software development
• You have a portfolio where you can share achievements as a developer and you have a GitHub containing your amazing coding skills
• You have a University degree in Information Technology and Engineering
• You have great communication skills and love sharing your knowledge with others
• Agile is your way of working
Location
You will be working in the department of Web & Digital Solutions and the location for this position is Stockholm, Sweden with the flexibility of working from home.

Application process
We welcome your application in English, including resume and cover letter. Last day to apply is April 22nd 2022. Selection period starts in April, followed by online tests and interviews in April and May. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of May/beginning of June. The last step will be a pre-employment screening. Starting date of the IT & Strategy Talent Programme will be September 1st 2022.
