By applying for the IT & Strategy Talent Programme you can become 1 of 23 talents working towards that goal. Each of the 23 positions in the program is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year programme with a strong focus on your development. You will have an individual development plan aiming at a targeted competence profile after two years and building blocks with learning goals towards that target. As part of the programme, you can look forward to assignments/rotations aimed at giving you a chance to really get into a project and deliver value.
Your role as Environmental Advisor
The environmental area is developing rapidly and expectations are constantly increasing. As an Environmental Advisor your role will be to drive strategic change initiatives within climate, biodiversity and sustainable resource use. You will have a variation of different tasks, ranging from monitoring trends to idea generation, developing strategies, concretize road maps and conduct environmental assessments. This position offers a great opportunity to grow within environmental sustainability and a possibility to build a broad professional network.
You will for example:
Collaborate with different business areas and drive projects that strengthen Vattenfall's environmental performance
Identify and implement actions that drive change in the organisation
Work with communication to increase impact and awareness on environmental topics
Develop long-term corporate environmental targets and KPIs
Assess environmental business opportunities including environmental product development
Support industry decarbonisation projects
Qualifications
Who are you?
Strong academic background and relevant bachelor or master degree (e.g. Natural Science, Business or Social Science or similar)
Experience in project management and agile ways of working
Excellent communication skills (i.e. convey ideas, information and messages effectively to different stakeholders)
Fluent in written and spoken English. Swedish, Dutch or German is meritorious.
We believe that you have an environmental background and has been working around two years with a wide range of environmental topics. You are passionate about environmental sustainability and you have a strong ambition to develop within this fields. You work independently and take own initiatives, but you thrive working in a team. You have an agile mindset and are able to adapt to changes and prioritize your work efficiently.
As a person you are curious and not afraid to challenging existing ways of working when needed. You are enthusiastic and your engagement can motivate others be open to new ideas and change. Your social skills enable you to understand different needs and your interest in networking is used to connect people.

Location
You will be working in the department of Environmental Strategic Projects (part of Staff Function Environment, Strategic Development) and the location for this position is preferably in Stockholm or Amsterdam.
