By applying for the IT & Strategy Talent Programme you can become 1 of 23 talents working towards that goal. Each of the 23 positions in the program is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year programme with a strong focus on your development. You will have an individual development plan aiming at a targeted competence profile after two years and building blocks with learning goals towards that target. As part of the programme, you can look forward to assignments/rotations aimed at giving you a chance to really get into a project and deliver value.
Your role as an Talent- IT Generalist
As an IT Generalist talent you will be working close to our CIO and our IT Management Team where you will support in the following areas:
Tasks and action portfolio management
Analysis of data quality
Coordination
Follow up
Evaluation

For this specific position as an IT Generalist you will work with our CIO and learn IT organization, the culture, process and learn much specifically about the IT-security environment as one of our main critical topics within IT. Moreover it is International environment with a lot contact with Executive management and IT organization.
Vattenfall IT organization operates in an international environment and your stakeholders will be based across the region. In this role you will have the opportunity to grow a network on senior management level within our organization.


Qualifications
Who are you?
We are looking for an ambitious person who is not afraid of asking critical questions and that constantly strives for improvement. You have an academic background, and enjoy working with communication and coordination. An interest in Data Analysis and IT Security is beneficial.
Most important to succeed in this position is that you are willing to invest time into learning something new every day and by being proactive. A plus is if you have experience from project management.
To fit into this role as an IT Generalist you have/are:
An academic background within IT, Data or General Engineering, Business Management
Graduate, or up to two years’ of working experience
Passion about creating change
Keen on ‘learning by doing’
Able to handle a steep learning curve
Committed to climate-smarter living
Ability to travel regularly



Additional Information
Location
You will be working in the department of our CIO and the location for this position is Stockholm, Solna in our head office however the work can be performed from all of our Vattenfall locations.

There are planned weeks including personal development and internal leadership development from our Vattenfall Management Institute. The selection period starts in the middle of February, followed by online tests and interviews in March and April. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of April.
