Each of the 40 positions in the programme is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year programme with a strong focus on your development. From the outset you’ll have your own development plan which will be tailored towards a role suitable for you and include building blocks with learning goals towards that target. The focus is very much on learning by doing, and together with your manager you’ll select different assignments and rotations where you’ll participate in real projects, and contribute to fossil free living, at the same time as you get the experience you need to boost your development.


Your role as Junior IT Compliance Officer
Vattenfall IT (VIT) is looking for a Junior IT Compliance Officer to further strengthen our IT Quality function. IT Compliance is an increasingly important discipline for Vattenfall business in an environment of increased digitalization, as well new cyber threats and regulations. We believe you have a genuine interest in compliance and information security, have a pragmatic attitude and like to work in dynamic and international environment. You can ask critical questions, challenge status quo, and you constantly strive for improvements.
As a Junior IT Compliance Officer, you will work closely with to Audit and Compliance staff across the Vattenfall organization, as well as staff focused on Information security. You will also work within the area of Continual improvement of Vattenfall IT. In your role you will work across the whole international IT organization.


Your daily activities:
Participate in meetings and activities within IT compliance and Information security management
Participating in reporting to IT management about the IT compliance posture and status of follow up actions.
Guide and support the IT line organization in defining Information and IT Security Requirements that need to be met.
Support the Information Asset Classification process and make sure that all Information Assets are identified and classified
Using Vattenfall’s information security control framework to perform regular compliance follow-ups within Vattenfall IT
Co-operate with other security and compliance roles within Vattenfall’s Security organization, e.g. BISO, ISMS Officer and IT Risk Officer
Create audit documentation and reporting related to information security

As a Junior IT Compliance Officer you recognize yourself in the following:
You have an academic education within a relevant area such as IT, business administration, compliance, audit or equivalent
You have understanding of information management standards, such as ISO27000
You have an aanalytical and structured way of working
You have effective communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
You master our group language English; and preferable any of other languages such as Swedish, German, Dutch or Polish.

Location
You will be working in the department of IT Quality in Stockholm, Sweden.

Selection period starts in April, followed by online tests and interviews in April and May. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of May/beginning of June. The last step will be a pre-employment screening. Starting date of the IT & Strategy Talent Programme will be September 1st 2022.
