By applying for the IT & Strategy Talent Programme you can become 1 of 40 talents working towards that goal. Each of the 40 positions in the programme is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year programme with a strong focus on the your development. You will have an individual development plan aiming at a targeted competence profile after two years and building blocks with learning goals towards that target. As part of the programme, you can look forward to assignments/rotations aimed at giving you a chance to really get into a project and deliver value.
The individual journey you’ll take on the programme will be matched to your specific skills and personality, and from the outset you’ll have your own development plan.
Your role as a Transformation manager, Asset IT:
As a Transformation manager in the Asset IT Department you will be part of driving digitalization together with our asset intensive Business Areas (Wind, Hydro, Distribution, Heat). You will be part of a great team of Transformation managers and IT Project managers that work on different topics and initiatives in line with our strategic priorities in Asset IT. Sometimes you work independently on your own topics and projects, sometimes together with a college, and always in close connection to the business. You will act as a spider in the web and work with both IT and the asset driven business to enable the digital transformation.
Who are you?
We believe that you have the following skills and background:
Graduate, or up to two years’ work experience
Strong academic background in engineering, preferably in the area of energy and/or IT.
Good business acumen
Able to travel regularly
You have excellent English skills in and preferable in at least one of our local languages Swedish, Dutch, Danish or German (not necessary the same language as you location)
As a Transformation manager you recognize yourself in the following:
Passionate about wanting to create change
Committed to climate-smarter living
Able to communicate efficiently by understanding how to adjust the content to the audience and create supportive presentation material
Easily get into new topics even when a bit technical but still rather stay a generalist than a specialist
Able to see the bigger picture in what you do, be interested in how things connect
Drawn to complex topics, and able to apply structure in order to address them
Interested in developing project management skills

Location
You will be working in the department of Asset Business Transformation in Vattenfall IT and the location for this position is either Solna (Sweden), Kolding (Denmark) or Amsterdam (the Netherlands).

We welcome your application in English, including resume and cover letter. Last day to apply is April 22nd 2022. Selection period starts in April, followed by online tests and interviews in April and May. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of May. The last step will be a pre-employment screening. Starting date of the IT & Strategy Talent Programme will be September 1st 2022.
