In brief
We are looking for an IT Support engineer to join Nordnet’s IT Support department. We currently have 4 engineers working in the team and are now looking for one more, with PC and Mac competence.
This is part of the role
The main goals are to provide excellent service to Nordnet’s employees acting as a professional and friendly contact surface. IT Servicedesk reaches these goals by understanding the user, acting calm and professional in stressful situations and having a wide rather than deep technical expertise. It is crucial that we always strive to learn more, take new initiatives and independently makes sure cases gets prioritized and resolved.
- Provide technical support for all Nordnet’s employees, onsite and remotely
- Receive, install and provision desktop/laptop/Mac computers and cell phones
- Install, provision and package new software for Mac/Windows
- Manage Active Directory (Manage permissions and folder access)
- Document troubleshooting
- Understanding of DNS/DHCP
- VPN client knowledge
- Build and deploy Mac computers with Jamf or similar MDM tool
- Experience of troubleshooting Mac computers in a Windows environment
This is you
Most likely, you have a technical background that enables you to understand IT services on a deeper level. You have a strong passion for customer satisfaction. You like to communicate and you have a true interest in building relations and creating result through your team.
You are committed as a person so a high tempo is something that suits you very well. Experience of hands-on customer support is a merit. You have good technical understanding. Fluent language skills in both Swedish and English are mandatory.
