About the job
As IT Support Specialist and be an essential part of our constant strive for Customer Success! Your main focus will be to provide support to the business with a sense of urgency and with high quality. The IT Support Specialist will provide support remotely in a broad scope.


The daily work, which is supported by tools such as Service Now, Jabber and AD aims at providing Volvo Group´s different businesses with rapid and relevant 1st line support. This job requires cross-functional collaboration between your own team, stakeholders, Onsite teams, other teams within Digital & IT and partners.


This role comes with a great responsibility as you function as the first and, sometimes only, contact between the production plant and the service providers within Digital & IT. There are shifts where you will be working alone and need to evaluate situations and make difficult decisions in order to keep the production going. Your only focus at all times should be to contribute to as much uptime in applications and infrastructure as possible! The role is complex due to the need of multitasking throughout the shift. You will be handling phone calls, emails, cross-functional collaboration and surveillance in order to be able to deliver the expected support.


Some of the activities you will be working with are:
Installation, updating and user support of IT equipment
O365 support
Participate in and drive improvement initiatives and implementation of new technology
Collaboration with production department to develop new IT technology solutions
Purchase of IT equipment may occur


About you
We expect you to have a degree from university studies and a couple of years of experience working with IT, application support or technical support in production or similar. Your basic knowledge of ITIL processes, support tools such as Remedy, Service Now or similar, as well as AD knowledge will give you the necessary foundation to deliver good results. In addition, you are a great team player who strive to further develop yourself and others.


Qualifications / requirements for the job:
3-5 years of experience in IT support
2-3 years experience of server, database and IT infrastructure
Passion for innovation and new technology
B driving license
Enterprising and driven with the ability to solve problems
Very good collaboration and communication skills
Fluent Swedish and English, both in speech and text
