Nexus is a global security company active in identity and access solutions. We secure society by enabling trusted identities for people and things in the physical and digital world. Our clients include large- and medium-sized businesses, local authorities, as well as organizations that rely on the latest information technologies to manage sensitive information and data.
We are now in the process of strengthen our Internal IT team and are therefore looking for an IT Support Technician that loves giving support, and creatingstructure and to take responsibility.
You will join our HQ at Telefonplan south of Stockholm.
What will you be doing at Nexus?
As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first contact person inour service desk and taking care of tickets and phone calls from our users. You will be contacted byour colleagues from all over the company as a first step to get help with a big variety of issues.You will also be responsible for keeping service desk instructions and documentation up-to date.
The role in bullets
- Support users over the phone and by taking care of service desk tickets, this includes: - Troubleshot authentication problems
- Troubleshot connection problems
- Troubleshot access rights
- Assign licenses
- On- and Offboard users
- Client and application deployment
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
- Contribute to the development and improvement of our internal IT service desk.
- Responsible for keeping user instructions up to date. identify needs of improvements in the environment based on the tickets we get.
Who are you
We believe you are a person that like to get things done. You enjoy being part of a service organisation, and to really understand the needs of the organisation and strive to make it better every day.
We want you to have basic IT education from at least gymnasium. You have been working in an IT department for a couple of years and would like to take next step. If you have worked in the security industry or in a company with a lot of developers, we think it would be a great advantage.
Your main motivator is structure and order and to put the user and the user experience in the centre, making sure they get the best support possible. And at the same time, you will be part of a fast-moving organization and to thrive at Nexus you must be able to handle an everchanging environment. Since you will have a lot of contact with our users in different countries you need good communication skills and are able to explain a complex problem in an easy way.We work in a global environment and it’s important that you are unhindered in both Swedish and English.
Experience in the Microsoft platforms like Office 365 and Intune is a must. You also need to have knowledge in Windows 10 and a good understanding of security and its demands on the IT-environment. Knowledge in MFA solutions, Linux, Cisco Meraki and PKI is also a great advantage.
