The essence of the role
Sinch is growing, and we are growing fast! As an IT Support Technician you will be part of a growing team and you will mainly work as first- and second-line support to the Sinch employees. You will be responsible for supporting employees globally and you will work closely with your colleagues to resolve issues relating to the IT-infrastructure.
The role will require you to work in shifts, to cover US time zones. This will be one week every month working Atlanta hours, which is 2pm to 11pm Stockholm time.
Key responsibilities include:
Be the first- and second-line support for all IT issues
Answer and resolve IT issues
Install and repair computers
Troubleshoot hard – and software
Administration/Support of Microsoft 365 environment and related support systems
Documenting solutions and creating guides to improve and simplify the work for the IT team
Who are you?
This is a challenging role with a steep learning curve. In order to be successful in this role you have to be curious and always want to learn new things! You love IT and problem solving. You have strong customer focus and a desire to always create value for your stakeholders. The role requires you to have the ability to work independently and take full ownership of your own work as well as be a team player.
We see that you have the following in order to be successful in this role:
2-3 years of relevant working experience
Good knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration
Good knowledge of troubleshooting hardware issues and changing computer components
Experience of working in Azure and Microsoft Active Directory
Experience in support for Android/iOS devices
Fluency in written and spoken English
Big Plus
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:
Good knowledge of the Microsoft environment in general and if you have studied IT at university.
Fluency in the Swedish language
