What you'll do
As the IT System Engineer, your main responsibility will be to drive smaller tasks/projects, systems, vulnerability scan, configure all kind of IT equipment, server administration and troubleshooting in general. You will work closely with Production IT, process engineers, manufacturing, and be the expert in different systems and the “go to guy”. You will work in a small tight team locally on site in Vårgårda and having global teams supporting specific function.

You will belong to the Swedish IT Team which today consist of approx. 15 persons with different expertise, working closely together.

You have the flexibility to change perspectives, switching from seeing the situation from a bigger picture and then at the same time going down to details.

You enjoy working both in a team and independently, driving your own tasks, understand your role and what the Team is trying to accomplish. Communicating both with internal and external stakeholders, as well as educating/instructing, is nothing new to you.

Required skills:

- Education within data/IT
- A few years of experience 2nd level IT support or equivalent
- Active Directory knowledge
- Windows OS, (many versions)
- Experience in troubleshooting software applications, communication issues, hardware issues, etc.
- Good knowledge in Swedish and English, both verbal and in writing


Merited skills:

- DataBase knowledge (SQL, Oracle, etc)
- Experience within backup systems (Veeam, Acronis)
- Script/programming skills
